Dear Sir,

When I browse you site, the urdish text does not apper correctly, some of the letters are missing, and when I select the text, some of them re-apper and some other disapper.

Also, the banner that load in the from page takes a lot of time, specially for people with dial-up kind of internet access. I think it would be a good idea if you redesign your first page.

Sami

Dear Sami,
Hi,
You haven't mentioned the operating system you use
this problem occur when your system's Uniscribe is old
you probably using windows 98 or 2000
please download the Kurdish support program and install it
it will update your system's Uniscribe
http://www.kurditgroup.org/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=21

The above flash banner is only 12kb which is smaller than any gif image i think Sami just want to express some critics.

‌Dear Sami,

The unscribe that comes with win2000 has the problem you mentioned, yuo have to update the undcribe which is shipped with the package we brought togather. To get more details you can see Microsoft Volt. Our fonts are created in Volt, the bew version, the OTL table can almost only work with the the unscribe shipped with XP or .NET. So download our Kurdish Support and see if the problem still exists.

About our site, we are redesigning it and we are sure you like it.

About your Note-pad modification ofcourse you can send it to us:

we think about making an offline version of the notepad for our visitors who still use 9x, if you are interested you can make that.

we wish you love.....and thanks

Dear Bardaqani,

Thanks for the technical advice. Could you tell me where I can find more info on that uniscribe bug you mentioned?

Sami

‌Dear Sami,

I am not sure if it is a bug, or may be it is. You can check at msn volt community, it is a community for font developers, which is ran by the programmer of the unscribe. We contacted him few months ago, then the answer came from somebody else, that the new unscribe will solve it. please note that the unscribe is very shaky and there are 13 versions i know, we also tested and advised Microsoft about the new unscribe to support the letter "a" in Kurdish. This was done in .NET , just check Microsoft Volt Community at:

http://www.microsoft.com/typography/developers/volt/default.htm

Can you write Kurdish? cause the idea is to enrich Kurdish with such a technical discussion

wish you success

Dear Bardaqani,

My system supprt arabic (and kurdish) text, but I do not have an arabic keyboard to use it in writing. I tried to use the on-screen keyboard, but it is not convienice at all

Ok, you use 2000 after you downloaded our Kurdish support for Windows a Kurdi Sorani/Bahdini Keyboard will be installed on your system. It needs a worm boot. Then goto control panel and add a new keyboard, choose Arabic and thereunder choose Kurdi Sorani/Bahdini as its property and woala the Keyboard appears at your system-tray. But there has to be an Arabic support enabled to your Windows. And that is all, you can also see our tutorial section.

Let us know if it works......wish you a nice lady

Dear Bardaqani,

I know hot to install a new keyboard layout. What I meant by it is inconvience to write kurdish, is that my keyboard do not have arabic (or kurdish characters printed on it. Therefore if I wnated to type short kurdish letters I use the on-screen keyboard.

In some countries you can buy small stickers that have the arabic characters printed on, then you stick those small peices on the keys on the keyboard, you can still see the latin characters and also have arabic or kurdish characters.

I searched the web but could not find one to buy online.

Do not suggest that I write the kurdish characters on my keyboard using a pen, I tried it one, and the ink did make a mess on the keys.

our layout follows latin anry easy
